The arts & crafts of the Capital of India has been influenced by the royal touch of the kings & Mughals which can be found in Old Delhi as well as the New Delhi of the British Raj. It also included use of semi-precious stones. Meenakari, painting embossed on silver/gold to give the look of precious stones is also from the Mughal era.
